National Stadium at Surulere in Lagos use to host the Super Eagles in the past but has been dumped in the last decade and the venue has deteriorated to a level that cannot host any matches again, SPACEFM reports

While speaking from his base in France Rohr said he knew Lagos is home of football and he will like to play there.

”i also know that Lagos is home of football in Nigeria and we should be able to play there as well. i hope the minister can help us by ensuring that we have good pitches to practice and play on” he said.

Apart from National stadium, all other pitches in Lagos are Astro-turf and they are not consider to be a good pitches to play on.

The Nigeria senior side has been playing all their international home matches recently at Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
